Camp Becket Island Overnight Paddle

What do you get when a group of seven fourteen-year old boys, three camp counselors, and a few Maine Kayak guides embark on a paddling trip along the Maine Coast? Nothing but fun!  Ask us the best part and we'd probably have a difficult time choosing between swimming and jumping off of the rocks of Crow Island, seeing an osprey dive and catch a fish, or watching the curious harbor seals follow us over to Jim's Island in Muscongus Bay. Or, maybe it was "surfing" the waves all the way up the coast from Round Pond to Bremen with the wind at our backs. There's no doubt that the whoopie pies we ate for dessert were a big hit, as was the chance to drink Maine Root sodas and eat lobster rolls for lunch at the Anchor Inn Restaurant on Day 2 of the trip.

If we had to choose the absolute best part? We'd say it was the bilge pump water fights happening at random all along the paddle. Every man for himself!

Do you have a group that you'd like to take on an epic adventure? If you're looking for a unique outing along the Maine coast, collect your friends, family, or summer campers and we can make it happen!  Join us for a half day, full day, or even an overnight paddle.  What will the best part of your trip with Maine Kayak be?
